Latvia`s GIS Association, Estonian Geoinformatics Society (Eesti Geoinformaatika Selts) and Lithuanian Cartographic Society (Lietuvos kartografų draugija) have agreed to cooperate in organizing a joint Baltic Geospatial Information Technology Conference.
The Baltic Geospatial Information Technology Conference is a unique collaboration between all Baltic states in organizing regional geospatial industry event and developing cross-border cooperation. The main goal of the conference is to create a unified understanding and vision of the geospatial information technology industry in the region, and exchange experiences to expand knowledge, nnovation, as well as market opportunities.
The conference will be held on the 6th of March in Riga, Latvia. Throughout the day, conference attendees will have an opportunity to not only to listen to local and international presenters in several
parallel sessions, but also to attend workshops, meet industry representatives and exchange ideas and opinions.
